Fitness & Dance
OnPoint teaches ballet, jazz, modern and African dance in K-12 and college classrooms, community arts centers, fitness centers, and dance studios. We are successful in "shaping" dance programs, through training that is based in statewide and national frameworks and standards. [Massachusetts licensed in K-12 dance].
Emphasis is on body positioning, alignment, centering, lengthening and strengthening of critical muscle groups. Special “turning” and other genre–specific techniques are taught during class or clinics. Implementation of these Dance Fundamentals results in performance combinations for the classroom or professional venues.
Nationally certified in dance, Pilates, aerobics, swimming and group exercise, basic elements of health and fitness are incorporated in every classroom, including: nutrition, cardiovascular, skeletal, muscular, and respiratory integrity – for Total Body Fitness.
